Though she grew up in St. Louis, MO, and later Dayton, TN, Abby has been calling Los Angeles home for the past three and a half years. Since she was a kid, her comedy and drama bones were hard to tell apart--as a child she would accidentally make people laugh, and then cry about it. Finally she realized that if people were going to laugh at her, she might as well make the best of it! She studied Musical Theater in college, and has always sought comical roles. Since coming to Los Angeles, she's studied musical theater auditioning techniques with Carol Weiss, and learned scene study and acting techniques with Diane Venora. She studied improv at Ultimate Improv with J.D. Walsh, and is currently a member of the group "8 Ball" at L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre, voted "Best Improv Comedy Group" MyFoxLA in both 2007 & 2008! Abby does stand-up all over Los Angeles, and has also performed at clubs in Boston and Houston. Most recently, she's played at Los Angeles's Comedy Store--doing both stand-up and improv there! She wants to thank her wonderful family for their constant support and encouragement. She thanks her husband for his perpetual love and sacrificial support. Mostly, she thanks God for His unconditional love for her and for the many undeserved, and yet unrelenting blessings He has poured into her life.
